The truth about Christmas is that the baby was born to die, that God knew before he ever put two molecules of anything together that if He in His great desire to love and be loved, created a free will creature, sin would come, and redemption would be necessary. He deemed that it would be worth it to make the sacrifice of His Son, a part of Himself, for the love that would eventually be gained and treasured in a world made clean of sin.
